i do not recomend the sound block boards from travis perkins
many of them has damage ewrywhere

Fantastic Quality
Great product, very strong & good quality, negates the need to have additional studs too, just a note these sheets weigh 44kg each!

Good noise reduction product.
Used in conjunction with knauf earthwool acoustic roll (100mm depth) and a layer of 2 mm acoustic rubber sheet, then 2 layers of gyprock soundbloc board gives a high level of noise reduction.
Acoustic roll + gyprock soundbloc + acoustic rubber mat then I final layer of gyprock, then seal or the edges with acoustic sealant.
On the downside these boards are very heavy.
The level of noise reduction is worth all the effort.

British Gypsum Gyproc WallBoard DUPLEX Tapered Edge 2400mm x 1200mm x 12.5mm
Gyproc WallBoard DUPLEX, backed with a vapour controlled membrane, is a high-quality and durable product. This wallboard features an aerated Gypsum centre, secured by bonded paper liners and polyester film.
With an Ivory-faced paper and metallised polyester film reverse, it can be used for wall and ceiling linings where vapour control and plasterboard lining are required in one fixing operation.
Gyproc WallBoard DUPLEX is a plasterboard that is suitable for dry lining internal surfaces.
