Purchased two bulk bags for re-rendering the front of our 4 bed house. Not an expert myself (hence no 5 star) but no complaints from the plasterers and very well priced. Bought delivery forward to next day to suit @ no extra cost!

Plasterers found it hard to work with.
Well, it's called 'plastering sand' and supposed to be a blend of sands that make the mix suitable for application as a plaster render. The plasterers never stopped moaning about it complaining it was hard to apply. Ended up adding some ordinary yellow building sand to the mix which improved things.
Good point was ...

Non stop picking stones out of it when floating up!! Made the job harder than it should have been. Not great plastering sand…..as it says, mixed with sharp sand…..too much!

No good for external plastering
Sand looks and feels like it was taken from the beach. It dries very fast, and only hardens when PVA and Plasticiser are added to the mix. When it dries it just rubs off the wall, without the add mixes. Also needed to add more cement @ a 5 sand to 2 cement mix. This sand is not suitable for plastering. Positive was the great delivery driver who risked his truck getting up our narrow road.

Good plastering sand ....but
Good quality plastering sand which was used for rendering a dwarf wall. Only issue was the sand contained quite a few leaves (!! ) some of which managed to get into the render mortar causing issues.

Plastering sand
The sand that was supplied was of poor quality. The plasterer said it contained pieces of type 1 and it was very hard to work with whilst rendering the property. Ending with cracks forming on the render within 24 hours.

I would not buy this product again.
It is not even worth one star. It is a zero star product as it is not plastering sand - it is sharp sand. Your staff admitted the same when I asked what I would get if I ordered sharp sand and they said the same as what I got when I ordered plastering sand.

I wouldn't by this again as it is not what it says is.
This is not plastering sand it is sharp sand! They are totally different things. Whilst you insisted it was plastering sand when I asked you what I would get if I ordered sharp sand you told me that it would be the same as this - so clearly this is sharp sand and you are knowing advertising and selling it incorrectly.
