Very bad service
Poor service acknowledged drop off on a Thursday didn't arrive so called, they arranged for another drop off and failed again then delivered over a 2 weeks from order. The company is badly managed. Worst ballast I have ever used
If I could give this 0 stars I would. Honestly the worst stuff I have ever used. Couldn't even use it to be honest. Hardly any sand mixed with pea shingle and couldn't make concrete with it. Will be speaking to customer services for a refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Good ballast. Used other brands in the past supposed to be 20mm but turned out to be just smashed up chunks of rock & not much sand content, this on the other hand is excellent stuff nice 20mm pebbles & good qualities of sand in the mix for a smooth finish. All delivered in good time.

MOT Type 1 has crushed gravel stones that form the granular sublayer for road surfaces and pathways. Hardwearing, this gravel provides a load bearing stable layer and a flat surface prior to laying paving or hard standing areas. The fine mixture also ensures minimal voids in the sublayer when compacted.

Travis Perkins Gravel and Shingle Trade Pack 10mm
This trade pack of 10mm gravel and shingle consists of small stones that are ideal for mixing with other products when concreting and floor screeding. Other uses include backfilling drains and landscaping tasks. It is recommended that the 20mm version or one of the decorative aggregates is used for driveways and paths as the small stones can be brought inside on footwear.
