Each post is manufactured in the UK from galvanised steel. It’s the galvanised steel construction that makes these garden fence posts lightweight, durable and very robust. The lightweight nature means that you can install your garden fence by yourself and work at your own pace.
If that isn’t enough, DuraPost is also maintenance free, so you don’t have to think about ongoing treatment and aftercare. These fence posts are built to last yet, when they do come to the end of their working life, they are 100% recyclable - making them a sustainable option.
The answer will really depend on what height fence post you want to install, but as a general rule the recommendation is that the height of the post is divided by three, whilst the width is multiplied by 3. So, if you have a 6 foot (1800mm) by 3” (75mm) post, you’ll need to dig a hole 2 feet down by 9” across.
Whilst maintaining their inherent strength and durability, these galvanised steel posts offer a slimmer profile than that of a concrete or timber fence post. In turn, you will need a smaller hole, which means less disturbance to the surrounding ground. Moreover, you’ll only need a single bag of postcrete mix per hole.
So now you know all about the DuraPost fence system, now we can look at the finishing touches to bring the whole design together, and ensure your fencing panels are as sturdy and secure as they can be.
With the unpredictable British weather and high winds, that we are more than accustomed to, this complete fencing system will give you peace of mind that they can stand up to the punishment.
If your posts, caps and capping rails do start to see signs of wear or blemishes to the finish, you can use the DuraPost Touch Up Spray Paint in an exact colour match range to give them a new lease of life.
