Tool Hire Delivery and Collection Terms

Same day delivery service:
 

1. This service is only available on selected products from Monday - Friday on orders from the following branches: Battersea Lombard, Dalston, Ealing, Hackney, Harrow North, Heathrow, Kensal Green, Paddington, Palmers Green, Queens Park, South Ruislip, St Pancras, Staples Corner, Stratford, Tottenham, Vauxhall, Walthamstow, Woolwich, Amersahm, Aylesbury, Borehamwood, Enfield, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Maidenhead, Potters Bar, Rickmansworth, Slough, Watford Ottespool, Welwyn Garden City, Wycombe, Bournemouth Wallisdown, Christchurch, Ferndown, Lymington, New Milton, Barnstaple, Bridgwater, Taunton, Tiverton, Wells, Altrincham, Ashton Under Lyne, Birkenhead, Blackburn, Chester, Hoylake, Leigh, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Manchester Central, Sale, Salford, Sharston, Stockport Whitehill, Urmston, Warrington, Wigan, Wilmslow, Northampton HRR, Northampton Kettering RD, Bedford, Biggleswade, Cambridge Devonshire RD, Cambridge Kilmaine, Milton Keynes North, Milton Keynes South. 2. Orders must be placed in a branch or over the telephone before 2pm for same working day delivery on the selected products that are in stock at the relevant branch and can fit on a 3 ½ tonne vehicle.

3. This service excludes weekends and bank holidays.

4. Subject to stock availability in the branch at the point of order being made.

5. Available to Travis Perkins trade account holders and non-account holders.

6. Each delivery will incur a delivery charge. A list of charges can be found here.

7. No guarantee can be made on specific timing of deliveries.

8. Orders placed on Friday between 2pm – 5pm will be delivered on the following Monday. Should the following Monday be a bank holiday, the goods will be delivered on the Tuesday.

9. Excludes all online orders.

10. Service is limited to within the trading hours of the branch that the order is placed, please check opening times of the branch.

11. If the customer is not present or cannot be contacted at the time of delivery, the service may be cancelled and the branch will attempt to contact the customer to re-arrange delivery for another day. The branch is not liable for any failed deliveries due to failure to contact the customer.

12. Delivery must be signed for.

13. Travis Perkins reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service with or without prior notice at any time in its absolute discretion.

14. In the event that delivery is not made due to reasons outside the branch’s control, a claim can be submitted to the Branch Manager where the order was placed. The Branch Manager will review the claim and their decision on the claim is final. A successful claim will have the delivery charge refunded.
 

Next day collection from site service:
 

1. 8. Off-hires that are made after 5pm will not be available for next day collection.The collection will be the next working day.

9. Off-hires made on Friday after 5pm will be collected on the following Tuesday (or Wednesday, should the Monday fall on a bank holiday).

10. Service limited to within the trading hours of the branch that the order is placed, please check opening times of the branch.

11. If the customer is not present or cannot be contacted at the time of collection, the service may be cancelled and the branch will attempt to contact the customer to re-arrange collection for another day.

12. Collection must be signed for.
