If its washed and sludge free I'll buy more.
The 5 stars is for the young driver that delivered the 3 bulk bags of slate to our house , a very pleasant helpful chap.
Another 5 stars for the slate its very nice as you can see.
Minus 5 stars for the amount of sludge in the bottom of the bag which also coated every piece of slate.

We used the slate to fill in under the hedge to keep the weeds down. It's hard work shovelling them out of the bag, so if you can, split the bag. There was a lot of dust and small shale bits in our bag and the slate was grimy. A lot of it washed off in the rain, but it is still quite chalky and not the same purple ...

These are excellent I use them on my rockery and island bed keeping weeds down and stops flooding on beds

Great service and lovely slate
We have used this slate to make a 'patio' area in our garden. It looks great and having larger pieces it doesn't seem to be getting caught in shoes etc and ending up in the grass.
Just one other thing, I'm really not sure if the slate is plum or blue! 🤣

Good in parts; the top part mainly!
Slate clippings used in garden over weed barrier to provide decorative borders. Very effective. Top two thirds of bag fine but a lot of very small clippings and dust had leached to bottom of bag and were not of as much use and certainly not as attractive as the larger pieces

Some people moan about it but we found it brilliant
Used the plum slate to cover our front garden as the lawn laid by Botchouse builders on our new estate was pathetic, tiny and laid on top of rubble! The slate looks great though

40mm Plum Slate, very poor quality.
I ordered 2 x 850kg bags of 40mm Plum Slate. The white bag on the right was top quality. The green Travis Perkins bag was very poor quality. So poor in fact , that it resembled dusty shale. My clients was not happy at all. The Manager at Travis Perkins gave me a refund on the poor quality bag. For this I gave 2 stars. I was told the plum slate is supplied by Tarmac!

Plum Slate......excellent product & customer service!
Excellent customer service from Caernarfon TP team....everything from great advice, through to prompt delivery. Nothing was too much trouble. Exceptionally pleased with product, the plum slate has transformed my garden! Would definitely buy product again and would always use the Caernarfon TP team.

The price of the slate doubled in only 2 months.
I purchased 2 bags. The first bag was good quality, the second was poor including (a lot of dust). I was just about to order a further bag, and 2 months later the price has more than doubled. Search around you will get a reasonable price.
