I was very disappointed when I wiped over my control panel with a damp cloth and half the symbols around the function selector came off. A great disappointment
I have very recently purchased this integrated microwave/oven as a like for like replacement for my original Bosch oven installed in a kitchen refurb 20 years ago. That gave sterling service over the years. Unfortunately the new oven makes a loud intermittent noise/vibration when using the oven. (not the microwave) This is completely unacceptable. I have done some online searches and it appears that this might be a recurring problem. I have checked all of the aaccessories in case anything is loose and that doesn't appear to be the case.

New Bosch Microwave
This is the first time we have purchased a Bosch microwave. However, we have had a Bosch oven, washing machine and a dishwasher and are hoping to see the same or better build quality and ease of use with the new microwave.

Replacement built-in microwave oven
New item was needed to replace built-in Bosch oven that was installed many years ago. It needed to be the same dimensions to fit into the existing housing. It was futureproof and fitted perfectly. Extremely quiet in operation and the range of cooking modes is excellent. In terms of appearance it has a sleek, modern look emphasising its ability to cope with anything in the recipe book. The fact that we replaced the old, original Bosch oven with its latest version say it all really. Excellent product.

The symbols on the fascia panel will come start to come off if any cleaning products have been used on the area previously. Also, this applies to a cloth that may have been used to clean something else beforehand. We generally advise to keep a microfibre cloth, purely for cleaning this area, in order to avoid this.
