Used in a 'rockery' wall type thing finishing off a half built wall from a cowboy builder I had the miss-pleasure of meeting
First time mixing cement ... absolutely hate the process as it's a killer on the back doing it by hand
Handy size packs for lifting (female... mid age... lazy potato!)
Anything left over ...

Too wet
OK so it is sand, but my purchase of 5x bags came with 2.5 pints of entrained water which drained into my boot during a 5min drive, I am still cleaning up 20 minutes later, not amused, I bought bagged not bulk! But the sand is OK.

I use your new Witney Branch ( not Oxford!)
I wanted this to bottom out a small garden pond excavation. Ideal size and the right stuff.
NB My nearest branch is right here in Witney so why does your web site want me to go 12 miles to Oxford? I did advise Witney Manager of this !!!!?? Wakey wakey!

First attempt bricklaying!
I had previously bought Tarmac's sand and I found this one needed so much more water to mix it with cement! Not sure why (I I'm a geologist so understand the properties of sand!). Otherwise all good.

Did the job.
Mortar mix. Worked well. The extra water in the bags helped the mortar mix but was a bit hard on the back as I slogged home with 1 in a backpack and the other on a porter's barrow.
